Apathy of Social Media team: Driving Dakshina Kannada Congress towards brink of assembly election loss?

With elections round the corner political parties are leaving no stone unturned to ensure their win. This also includes making sure that the party and its candidates are always in limelight and enjoy the good will of media and general public. Emphasis is given to highlight achievements , electoral promises and local  /national issues. Apathy of Social Media team: Driving Dakshina Kannada Congress towards brink of assembly election loss?

But for Dakshina Kannada District Congress Commitee (DKDCC) such social media initiatives are not even a distant dream. A senior ex district incharge Ministers dubious idea to cement his men into social media team has proven to be fatal and lead to entire Social media team to cease its operations.

In early 2022 with a recomendation from DKDCC Core committee a new district social media cordinator was appointed by KPCC. But within 18 days of this appointment,Ex District Incharge Minister overruling core committees descision, got one of his henchman as the District Co-Ordinator. Frustrated and dissapointed by unethical interference of this very leader, all members of the team quit expressing their inability to perform effectively.

Although a sitting MLA and prominent leader of karnataka state assembly U.T.Khadar , Ex-Minister Ahayachandra Jain ,KPCC general secretary Mithun rai hailing from the district ,tried there  level best to set right the situation yet the Ex-Incharge Minister’s adamant nature proved to be an unconquerable hurdle in the process.

On the other hand DKDCC president Hariesh Kumar’s  sincere efforts to assemble a new team were also sabotaged by the ex incharge  minister.High level Congress sources have already warned that the party is poised to put up a weak show n 2023 assembly elections in district and its only due to no show by social media team.

Its universally known that 2022 was a year of controversies for BJP . Congress on other hand gained traction due to initiatives such as Bharat Jodo Yatra. But due to inactiveness of District Social Media team none of the BJPs failures were highlighted. As a result BJP still enjoys voters confidence in Dakshina Kannada and is all set to repeats its 2018 winning streak.

An ulterior motived move taken by the ex minister to tighten his hold over the party has resulted in sabotaging congress chances of winning 2023 elections. Despite BJP governments in State and center losing their sheen DKDCC Social Media team has failed pathetically in performing its duties.
