Special Trains Run for Ganesh Chaturthi; Advance booking begins

Ganesh Chaturthi festival will be celebrated on September 18 and 19. So many people from outside the state will come back to Home town. Indian Railway department runs special trains for Ganesh Chaturthi; Advance booking begins.

Railway department will already announce special trains in this regard. Special trains will run from Mumbai to Mangaluru from September 14. The additional running of Konkan trains will provide more convenience to the passengers coming from Mumbai to Mangaluru.

Anyone coming to or leaving the state can make bookings now. According to Indian Railways train tickets can be booked in advance within 120 days. So train booking has already started and booking can be done immediately.

Train tickets from Mumbai to Bagalkote, Belgavi, Bellary, Bidar, Bijapur, Chamarajanagar, Chikkamagaluru, Chitradurga, Mangaluru, Gadag, Dharwad, Kalaburagi, Hassan, Haveri, Kolar, Koppal, Mysuru, Raichur, Shivamogga, Tumkur, Uttara Kannada are available now. This booking can be done through IRCTC website or mobile app of Indian Railways.

A special train will run from Friday 15th September between Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Mumbai – Mangaluru Junction.
