NACH 3.0: Salary to EMI, banking rules will change from July 1
NACH 3.0: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has announced a major update to the NACH system. From the first week of July 2025, a new version called NACH 3.0 will be released. This upgrade makes your salary, EMI, subsidies, and regular payments faster and more secure. NACH 3.0: Salary to EMI banking rules will change from July 1.
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) recently said in a circular that the NACH system will get a major update from the first week of July 2025. This new and updated system is now called NACH 3.0. Through this, not only will salaries and subsidies arrive faster, but bank transfers will also be faster and safer than before.

What is NACH?
For those who are not familiar with it, let us tell you that NACH (National Automated Clearing House) is a robust and automated system of bank-to-bank transactions in India. Through this, monthly salary, pension, subsidy, loan EMI and other regular payments are made easier.
Your Mutual Fund SIP, auto payments for apps like Netflix are also done through this system. That is, NACH is an important part of our daily financial transactions.

What changes are coming in NACH 3.0?
According to NPCI, the new NACH 3.0 version comes with many security and functional improvements. This improves user experience, strengthens data protection and security, and allows high volumes of transactions to be processed more reliably. This update provides a fast, easy and secure banking experience for regular customers.
Important changes in NACH 3.0
Improved GUI Interface: NACH’s graphical user interface has now been updated to meet new security standards, providing a better and safer experience for users. Easy navigation: Banks are now able to view all key details on a single screen, making monitoring and access easier than before.
Improved file management: The new system is now able to process a large number of files quickly and efficiently.
Improved Dashboard: Banks will now be able to track which files have been sent and which files have been received through the updated dashboard. NPCI said that several advanced security standards have been implemented in NACH 3.0 to strengthen the security and reliability of the system.

Advanced Technology: Data transmission and storage is now based on secure technology through both GUI (Graphical User Interface) and H2H (Host-to-Host).
Multi-factor authentication (MFA): MFA is implemented for user login (this feature will be activated after ‘Go Live’), which makes account access even more secure.
Role-based access control: Each user sees data according to their need and role, which prevents misuse of data
Enhanced audit trails: Accurate information about every activity is recorded, making it easier to monitor and comply with regulations.
Real-time Monitoring and Alerts: Transaction processing and receiving activities can now be monitored live.
