IMD issued heavy rainfall alert in these states for next 2 days
IMD Issued Heavy Rainfall: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) as of November 7, 2025, the primary focus for isolated Heavy Rainfall Alerts over the next two days (November 8th and 9th) is on the Southern Peninsular region.
According to the India Meteorological Department, a rain warning has been issued for various parts of South India. The IMD has predicted that Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Yemen and Andhra Pradesh will experience adverse weather conditions for next 2 days with strong winds and rain expected.
The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in various parts of Tamil Nadu. According to the Meteorological Department’s Chennai-based centre, heavy rainfall has been forecast for Krishnagiri, Vellore, Ranipet, Tirupattur, Thiruvannamalai and Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu till November 8.
