Masked Gang Attacks Reported in Bengaluru Northarahalli

A series of attacks reported in Bengaluru’s Northarahalli area has prompted a police search for a group of masked men who allegedly targeted several people on Monday night.

The incidents took place within the limits of Subramanyapura police station. According to the police, the suspects arrived on motorcycles and allegedly attacked people at more than one location before leaving the area.

One of the incidents was reported near the Arhalli Arch, where a roadside hotel was operating. The group allegedly attacked a customer who was having a meal and also targeted hotel owner Mani, his wife and their son Ravi.

The incident created panic among people in the area as the group reportedly moved around with weapons. Local residents later helped the injured people reach a nearby private hospital, where they received treatment.

The group allegedly moved towards the Northarahalli main road after the hotel incident. Police said three more people identified as Kiran, Shivu and another Kiran were allegedly attacked in the area.

Following the incidents, Subramanyapura police visited the reported locations and the hospital where the injured people were being treated. Investigators have also begun collecting CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.

The footage is expected to help investigators establish the movements of the suspects and identify the vehicles used during the incidents. Police are also gathering information from the injured people as part of the initial investigation.

South West Division DCP Dr Soumyalatha confirmed that the police have begun efforts to trace those allegedly involved in the attacks. She said three special teams have been formed to locate and arrest the suspects.

According to the police, four suspects have already been identified during the preliminary investigation. Teams have been deployed within the Subramanyapura police station limits to trace them.

Investigators are examining the sequence of events at the different locations to determine whether the incidents were connected and what led to the alleged attacks.

The collection of CCTV footage and statements from the injured people is expected to form an important part of the investigation. Police teams are continuing their search for the suspects.
