Delhi Shock: 6-Year-Old Girl Raped by Three Minors in Bhajanpura; One Accused Absconding

New Delhi : A shocking case of sexual assault has emerged from the Bhajanpura area of Delhi, where a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three minors. The accused individuals are reported to be aged 10, 13, and 14 years.

According to police officials, the incident occurred on Tuesday, January 18. The perpetrators reportedly lured the young victim before committing the assault. Following the crime, the girl’s family approached the authorities and filed a formal complaint.

Police have confirmed that two of the accused minors have been apprehended. They were subsequently presented before the Juvenile Justice Board. However, the third accused, a 14-year-old boy, remains absconding. Authorities have noted that the family of the missing minor has also disappeared from their residence, complicating the manhunt.

The victim has undergone a medical examination, and police officials stated that she is receiving necessary medical care and counseling. Her statement has been recorded to aid in the investigation.

A specialized search team has been constituted to track down the fugitive minor. Authorities are currently scouring the area and examining nearby CCTV footage to establish his whereabouts. Police have expressed confidence that the remaining accused will be arrested soon.

This incident highlights a grim reality in India; despite the existence of strict laws against rape and sexual violence, such crimes continue to persist with disturbing frequency. Legal proceedings are currently underway against the detained suspects as the investigation continues.
