Gold edged higher in Indian markets today and hovered near all-time highs, tracking an uptick in international prices. On MCX, bullion futures were up 0.15% to Rs.56,745 per 10 gram, after hitting new peak of Rs.56,850 on Friday. Silver futures rose 0.6% to Rs.68,970 per kg.

Currently, gold is selling at its all-time high record. In the last trading week also, along with gold, the price of silver registered a rise. In the last trading week, gold became costlier by Rs 588 per 10 grams and silver by Rs 388 per kg.

Actually, the new business week is starting from today. Today is the first day of the new business week. Earlier, in the last trading week, there was a rise in the price of gold as well as silver in the bullion market. On Friday, the fifth and day of the third trading week of the new year 2023, along with gold, there was a big jump in the price of silver. On Friday, gold became costlier by Rs 380 per 10 grams, while the price of silver rose by Rs 1009 per kg.

On Friday, gold (Gold Price Update) became costlier by Rs 380 per 10 grams and closed at Rs 57050 per kg. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, gold closed at a level of Rs 56755 per 10 grams with a jump of Rs 85 per 10 grams.

On Friday, along with gold, the price of silver (Gold Price Update) also registered a rise. On Friday, silver became costlier by Rs 1009 and closed at Rs 68453 per kg. Whereas on the last trading day on Thursday, silver rate had gained Rs 1549 and closed at Rs 68453 per kg.
