Heavy Rainfall Alert: The India Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in some parts of the state tomorrow (November 29) and Saturday (November 30) amid the onset of cold weather in the state. Heavy Rainfall alert in Karnataka for next 2 days.
The (IMD) has forecast that there is a possibility of rain in the southern interior due to the influence of a depression in the Bay of Bengal and the impact of Cyclone ‘Ditwah’.
Thunderstorms are expected in some districts of Central Karnataka, North and Kalyan Karnataka tomorrow. Dry or cloudy weather will be observed in most of the remaining districts. Cloudy weather is also likely in Bangalore city.
Thunderstorms are likely to occur in some places in Bellary, Chitradurga, Tumkur, Chikkaballapur, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal, Gadag and Haveri districts tomorrow.
Dry weather will be observed in Chamarajanagar, Chikkamagaluru, Davangere, Hassan, Kodagu, Kolar, Mandya, Mysore, Ramanagara, Shivamogga, Vijayanagara, Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bidar, Dharwad and Vijayapura districts. People will experience slight cold in some parts of coastal districts like Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.
The Bengaluru city will have partly cloudy weather, with a maximum temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. The wind speed will be 06-15 kmph, the Meteorological Department said.
