As of early July 2025, it has been reported that the 20th and 21st installments of the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana were released by the Karnataka government around May 28, 2025.
This amounted to Rs 4,000 being transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts. The government clarifies that the 21st installment will only be given to those who have already received their 20th installment.

There have been some delays in past installments (e.g., March installment due to financial year closure work), but the Women and Child Development Minister, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, has generally stated that funds are being released without hindrances and that the April installment was expected to be released within a week as of June 1, 2025.

DBT Status: You can visit the official website of Ahara (ahara.kar.nic.in), click on the ‘DBT Status’ link, select the year, month, and your ration card number, enter the captcha, and submit to see the payment information.
Seva Sindhu Portal: You can also check your application status on the Seva Sindhu portal by logging in with your registered credentials and selecting “Gruha Lakshmi Application Status.”

If you haven’t received your amount, ensure your Aadhaar card is linked to your bank account, and that all your details are correct and updated. You can also contact the concerned officer or the Women and Child Welfare Department of your area.
