RRB Recruitment 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has recently released a notification for the recruitment of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) graduate category railway jobs in railway zones across the country. RRB Recruitment 2025: Apply online for 5810 posts in Railway Department.
The online application process has already started and a total of 5,810 NTPC graduate posts are being filled under this notification. This includes 161 Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor posts, 615 Station Master posts, 3416 Freight Train Manager posts, 921 Junior Account Assistant cum Typist posts, 638 Senior Clerk cum Typist posts and 59 Traffic Assistant posts.
Online applications for these posts will be accepted by November 20. Candidates who have passed any degree can apply for these posts.
RRB Recruitment 2025 selection process:
There will be an online written test in two stages for all the posts. There will be an additional Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) for the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant. Candidates will have to qualify in the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for the posts of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist. After that, the final list will be announced after verification of certificates and medical examination.
RRB Recruitment 2025 Stage 1 Written Test:
There will be 100 questions for a total of 100 marks in this stage. The duration of these will be 90 minutes. There will be 40 questions from the General Awareness section, 30 questions from the Mathematics section and 30 questions from the General Intelligence and Reasoning section. There will be negative marking. Only those who qualify in this will be allowed to appear for Stage 2.
Stage 2 Written Test is as follows:
For the vacancies available in each section, 15 percentage of the candidates will be allowed to appear for the Stage 2 examination based on their merit. This exam is conducted for a total of 120 marks and 120 questions. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. One mark is given for each question.
To qualify in these two stages, Unreserved, EWS 40, OBC NCL, SC 30, ST 25 percent marks are required. In both the stages, there will be a negative mark of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
In Station Master and Traffic Assistant selection, 70 percent weightage will be given to the marks of Stage 2 exam and 30 percent weightage will be given to CBAT. There will be a Computer Based Typing Skill Test for the posts of Senior Clerk Cum Typist and Junior Account Assistant Cum Typist. In English, you will be able to type 30 words per minute and in Hindi 25 words per minute.
