Yash’s movie Toxic release date postponed: Actor confirms new global release date

Toxic Release Date: This is a bit of a bummer for fans of rocking star Yash. The release date of the much-awaited movie ‘Toxic’ has been officially postponed. The film is now officially scheduled to hit screens worldwide on June 4, 2026. This shifts the release by roughly two and a half months from its original slot.

As previously announced by the Toxic team, the movie was supposed to hit the screens on March 19, 2026. But according to current information, the movie is not releasing on that date.

While many fans were expecting a massive box office clash with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2, the makers cited a much larger global reason for the delay:

Since Toxic is shot in both Kannada and English and aimed at a worldwide audience, the makers felt that the current international climate would hinder their goal of reaching the “widest possible audience,” particularly in the Gulf region, which is a key market for Indian cinema.

The team emphasized that this was a “difficult but carefully considered decision” made in the interest of their global partners and viewers.

A grand trailer launch event was originally planned for March 8 in Bengaluru. This is now expected to be rescheduled. The first song, “Tabaahi,” was recently released, but further promotional activities have been temporarily paused to align with the new June release window.

This move also allows Toxic to avoid a head-on collision at the box office with other major 2026 releases like Dhurandhar 2 and Battle of Galwan, potentially giving it a cleaner run in June.

In an official statement, the production houses (KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations) explained that uncertainty in the Middle East has impacted their global distribution strategy. Since ‘Toxic’ is an international level action drama, VFX and post-production work require more time.

After ‘KGF’, Yash’s image is at a global level. Therefore, director Geetu Mohan Das and Yash have decided to give the best output without any compromise. The movie’s shooting is still ongoing and is being shot in London and various parts of Karnataka.
