In her post, she shared how the song came into her life through her husband, Tejasvi Surya. “Recently, I came to know about this beautiful song of Mahadeva Swamy through my husband. He loves this song and often sings it with devotion.
Over time, the melody found a place in my heart,” she wrote. “During the previous Kartika month, he played it several times, and each time his voice and the devotion within it resonated deeply. My husband was the inspiration for me to sing this song.”
Shivashree further explained that some songs hold a special place in one’s life. “So today, I present my humble rendition. This is not a performance, but a dedication to Mahadeva Swamy, who protects our homes, guides us, and fills us with strength,” she added.
Shivashree, who got married to Tejasvi Surya in March, has quickly become a beloved figure, not only due to her talent but also for the warmth she brings through her performances. While she hails from Tamil Nadu, her love for Kannada devotional music has connected her deeply with the people of Karnataka, especially through this heartfelt performance.
