The film serves as an origin story, delving into the ancient roots of the Bhuta Kola/Daiva Kola ritual and the folklore of the region. It follows the story of Berme (Rishab Shetty), a warrior and Naga Sadhu, as he fights against a tyrannical king to protect the land and the dignity of his tribal people.
Amazon Prime Video has bought the OTT broadcasting rights of the Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam versions of the movie ‘Kantara Chapter 1’.
