Karnataka SSLC Exam postponed
The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has officially postponed the SSLC Third Language exam (including Hindi) originally scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026. The exam will now be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
The sudden change is due to a revision in the state government’s holiday list for Mahaveer Jayanthi. Mahaveer Jayanthi was expected on March 31. The government declared March 30 as the public holiday for the festival instead. Since schools and government offices will be closed on March 30, the board decided to swap the dates to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
Revised Schedule:
Third Language (Hindi, Kannada, English, Arabic, etc.): March 31, 2026, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Important Notes for Students:
Rest of the Schedule: All other exams, including the final Social Science paper on April 2, remain unchanged.
Hall Tickets: Your existing hall tickets remain valid; no new downloads are required for this date change.
Travel: The provision for free travel for SSLC students in KSRTC and BMTC buses will apply to the revised date as well.
