Karnataka School Summer Holiday 2025: Karnataka State School Education Department has released the academic calendar for the academic year action plan for the year 2025-26 of all government, aided and unaided primary and secondary schools in the state. It has released school days, summer holidays, Dasara holidays, educational activities and guidelines to be followed. The Karnataka State School Education Department has released an educational schedule for the year 2025-26. The guidelines have been released to start schools from May 29.

The publication said it would apply to government, subsidized and unaided primary and secondary schools in the state. Schools will start from May 29 and the department has also announced the schedule of the Annual Educational Action Plan.

The first term from May 29 to September 19 and schools will be on the second period from October 8 to April 10, 2026. Dasara holiday from September 20 to 7 and summer holiday from April 11 to May 28, 2026. During this period, the students have been instructed to safely stir in order to provide mid-day meals.

The current line will be 123 days of holidays. The remaining 242 days will be held in school. 26 days are scheduled for testing and validation. 22 days for extra curricular activity, curriculum, competition management work. 10 days for assessment and result analysis work, 04 days for school local holidays and 178 days for the duty of staying for teaching learning process.

This year, school programs should be held in primary schools April 8 and high schools on April 9, and a meeting of parents should be convened and the results will be announced. On April 14, Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti should be celebrated in all schools.

Education institutions related to Christmas leave should be submitted to the District Deputy Director of their jurisdiction and then announced. The Commissioner of School Education has instructed the authorities to take lightning traffic and increase the enrollment.
