Teen dies in fiery crash after bike hits bus in Vijayapura; breakup angle suspected

 

Vijayapura, : In a heartbreaking incident, a teenager lost his life after his motorcycle collided with a bus and caught fire near Kannolli toll gate in Sindagi taluk of Vijayapura district. Police suspect that the  youth may have intentionally caused the crash following emotional distress linked to a relationship breakup.

The victim, identified as 19-year-old Abhishek Saibagouda Nagaralli from Allapur Layout in Sindagi, is believed to have been deeply affected by personal issues. According to police, he had been facing emotional turmoil after a reported breakup.

The incident occurred when Abhishek allegedly rode his Royal Enfield motorcycle into an oncoming government bus near Kannolli Cross. The force of the collision triggered a fire in the bike, which quickly spread and partially damaged the bus as well.

Due to the intensity of the flames, the   was trapped and died on the spot. Fortunately, passengers aboard the bus managed to escape in time, preventing further casualties.Investigators said that Abhishek had posted a disturbing message on Instagram prior to the incident, suggesting his intention to end his life. The post reportedly mentioned his emotional pain and blamed certain individuals for his condition. Police are currently verifying the authenticity and details of the post.

Fire brigade personnel reached the scene promptly and brought the fire under control. Sindagi police have registered a case and are examining all possible angles, including whether the act was premeditated.

The tragic incident has once again highlighted the vulnerability of youth facing emotional challenges. Authorities have appealed to the public, especially young individuals, to seek help and counseling during difficult times instead of resorting to extreme measures. Further investigation is ongoing, and police are also in touch with the victim’s family to gather more details about his mental state prior to the incident.
