Surat social media influencer dies in horrific crash while shooting high-speed reel

Surat: In a shocking incident, a 22-year-old social media influencer known as PKR Blogger (Prince Patel) died in a gruesome road accident while attempting to shoot a high-speed reel on his KTM bike in Gujarat’s Surat on Monday.

Police said Prince was riding at nearly 140 kmph while descending the Great Liner Bridge when he suddenly lost control. CCTV footage shows his bike skidding for almost 100 metres along the road divider before he was thrown off. The impact was so severe that he was decapitated on the spot.

According to preliminary investigation, Prince was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Officers said the excessive speed and the slope of the bridge contributed to the fatal crash.

Prince, popular among teenagers for his high-speed biking videos, had bought the KTM bike only in September. He often referred to the bike as “Laila” and regularly shared photos and reels with it. Shockingly, just four days before his death, he had posted a reel joking about loving his bike even “after death in heaven.”

Prince’s family is struggling financially. His mother reportedly lives in a shelter home and earns a living by selling milk. The tragic news has left his followers in disbelief.

Police have registered a case and begun further investigation. The incident has once again raised concerns about the rising trend of dangerous stunt-based content created for social media engagement, often at the cost of safety and lives.
