JDU leader Niranjan Kushwaha’s family 3 memebers were found dead

JDU leader Niranjan Kushwaha: The family members of JDU (Janata Dal (United)) leader Niranjan Kushwaha were found dead in suspicious circumstances at their home in Purnia, Bihar, on Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Niranjan Kushwaha’s elder brother, Naveen Kushwaha, his wife, Kanchan Mala Singh (also known as Mala Devi), and their daughter, Tanu Priya. The bodies were recovered by the police and sent for post-mortem examination.

The cause of death is currently unconfirmed and the subject of a police investigation. Reports mention that politicians and leaders who visited the hospital, including Pappu Yadav, have called for a high-level investigation, as they consider the deaths suspicious, with no apparent signs of a gunshot, poisoning, or suicide.

There is only one day left for the first phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly Election. Three members of JD(U) leader Niranjan Kushwaha’s family were found dead on Tuesday night.

According to residents, one of the deceased is the elder brother of local JD(U) leader Niranjan Kushwaha, they said. A police team reached the spot as soon as they received information about the discovery of the bodies at the house.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem to find out the exact cause of death, the SDPO said. Forensic experts are collecting evidence from the spot and an investigation is underway, he said.

Naveen Kushwaha was very popular in the area and had contested the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the past. The Bihar Assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11.
