Toyota Innova Hycross to be unveiled on November 25

Toyota India is gearing up to launch its much awaited Innova Hicross MPV model in India and the new car will be officially unveiled on 25th of this month.Having created several new records with the Innova MPV in India,Toyota is all set to launch its new generation feature-rich Innova Hicross soon. Before the launch of the new car, the company will unveil it on 25th of this month and the price information of the new car will be revealed at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo in January 2023.Toyota is unveiling the new generation Innova Hycross car for the global market, before the unveiling in India, the new car will be showcased in Indonesia on November 21 under the name of Innova Genix.

Design and features

The new generation Innova HyCross MPV is based on the design of the Corolla Cross in the international market, and the new car has been given a high level of sporty style. The L-shaped insert is paired with the wild headlamps of the new car. Also, the new car gets many new changes including hexagonal with gloss black, sporty fog lamps, LED tail lamps, spoke alloy wheels.

Engine and Mileage

In the current market, the Innova Crysta MPV is only available in petrol variants, while the new generation Innova HiCross can be purchased in both petrol and petrol hybrid variants. In the new Innova Hicross car, the company may introduce a new 2.0 liter Atkins cycle petrol hybrid engine along with the 2.7 liter petrol engine currently in the market. It has a strong hybrid feature with self drive charging feature and will ensure a mileage of 17 to 19 km per liter of petrol.

Built on the TNGC-A platform, the new Innova Hicross will feature electric sunroof, advanced infotainment system and many car connect features for the first time in the new car. In addition, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) facility with maximum safety features is being installed in the new Innova Hicross car.

As the new car is built on the TNGC-A platform, the new car will get a little extra length than the Innova Crysta car, and if the length is increased, the passengers sitting on the third row seat will get a comfortable space for long distance journeys along with the increased boot space.

Following the implementation of the new emission norms effective from 2023, Toyota has discontinued the sale of the diesel model and is focusing on the hybrid model.
