Tata Electric cars price drop again: Price start from Rs 7.99 lakh

Tata Motors is recognized as a reliable car manufacturing company in the country. Now it has given great news to its customers, it has reduced the price of electric cars from Rs.25,000 to Rs.1.20 lakh. Here is the complete details about that.

First let’s talk about Tata Nexon EV price drop. The price of the medium range (MR) model of this car has been reduced by Rs.25,000 and has a starting price of Rs.14.49 lakh. The price of the Long Range (LR) variant has been reduced by a maximum of Rs.1.20 lakh and has been priced at Rs.16.99 lakh.

Similarly, Tata’s entry-level Tiago EV has been reduced by Rs 70,000 to a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh. However, the Punch EV, which was recently launched in the Indian market at an ex-showroom price of Rs.10.99 lakh, has not reduced its price. Also, the price of the Tigur EV has not been cut.

Currently, the Tata Nexon EV facelift available for purchase in the domestic market has 30 kWh and 40.5 kWh battery pack options. The electric motor used in these produces 127 bhp and 143 bhp of maximum power, 215 Nm of peak torque.

This Nexon EV offers a range (mileage) of 325 km to 465 km on a full charge depending on the variants. It has a choice of driving modes Eco, City and Sports. This Nexon EV battery pack takes more than 10 hours to fully charge in home electricity use.

Tata Nexon EV gets dozens of features including 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment, 10.25-inch fully digital driver display, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 9-speaker JBL sound system. For safety it has 6-airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), All-Wheel Disc Brakes, Hill Hold, Descent Control.

As for the Tata Tiago EV, it will be available in 4 variants including XE, XT and 5 colors including Signature Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Pristine White. It gets 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh battery pack options.

This car gives a range (mileage) of 250 km to 315 km on a full charge depending on the battery pack. Only 57 minutes are enough to charge the car’s battery pack from 10% to 80% with the DC fast charger option. More than 7 hours when using 15A socket charger.

Tata Tiago EV has dozens of features including 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple Car Play, 4-speaker Harman sound system, steering mounted controls, cruise control. In terms of safety, it gets dual front airbags, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), ABS (Antilock Braking System).
