Tata Motors has launched the CNG AMT version of Tiago and Tigor cars. Tata Tiago CNG AMT, Tata Tiago CNG AMT is available in Tornado Blue color option. Tata Motors will start bookings for the Tiago CNG AMT and Tigor CNG AMT at a token amount of 21,000.
It is the first car manufacturer to introduce Automatic Manual Transmission (AMT) in CNG cars. Tiago CNG AMT is offered in three variants, XTA, XZA+ and XZA NRG, while Tigor CNG AMT has two variants. Tata Motors has made a change in the cars design in the CNG version.

CNG is housed in two cylinders in the boot space below the luggage area. The car is given the option to start directly in CNG mode. Tiago and Tigor feature the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. It develops 86PS and 113Nm in petrol mode and 73.4PS and 95Nm in CNG mode. Both the petrol and CNG versions now have 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT options.
Tata Motors has introduced new color options like Tornado Blue on Tiago, Grassland Beige on Tiago NRG and Meteor Bronze on Tig0r. The company offers CNG option in four models. Also available in Tiago, Tigor, Altroz and Punch.
