Hyundai Creta made booking record, over 75,000 units: Check Price, mileage and feature

Hyundai Creta is a popular mid-size SUV in India. The Creta facelift model was launched in a grand manner last January. Currently, the same car has received a record level of bookings; the company said that 75,000 customers have booked.

Hyundai Creta, first introduced in the domestic market in 2015, has been a favourite of over 10 lakh buyers so far. Last month (February – 2024) too, it sold 15,201 units, taking a 67% share of the company’s SUV segment. Next up are the Venue and Tucson cars.

The Hyundai Creta Facelift SUV available for purchase in India is priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 20.15 lakh ex-showroom. Available in 7 variants including E, EX, S, S (O), SX Tech and attractive colors. This car is also excellent in design and can comfortably seat 5 people.

The Hyundai Creta comes with 3 powertrains. Its 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 115 PS of maximum power and 144 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine is capable of churning out 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of peak torque.

The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, CVT, 7-speed DCT gearbox options are available depending on the variants. The petrol powered models deliver a mileage of 17.4 – 18.4 kmpl, the diesel powered models 19.1 – 21.8 kmpl.

Hyundai Creta facelift gets 2WD (Two Wheel Drive) technology prominently. 10.25-inch dual display, dual zone AC, 8-speaker Bose sound system, sunroof, wireless phone and dozens of other features. In terms of safety, it has 6 airbags, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System).

Hyundai Motor has also started accepting bookings for the upcoming new Creta N Line from February 29. Customers can reserve this SUV by paying a token amount of Rs.25,000. It has received some changes on the exterior and interior. It has a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

This Hyundai Creta N Line comes with maximum safety features like 6 airbags, hill assist control, electronic parking brake, auto hold, electronic stability control, 360-degree parking camera. The Creta N model is said to be available at an ex-showroom price of Rs.21 lakh and will be launched in the domestic market on March 11.
