Maruti Suzuki, which has already created several records in the sale of CNG cars, is planning to launch a new version of the Grand Vitara as well. The new Grand Vitara is currently sold in petrol hybrid model along with regular petrol, now a CNG version is being introduced. Through this, it has been decided to increase the sales of CNG models in the Nexa range as well, and it is expected that the new car will get a huge demand. Baleno, XL6 CNG cars are already on sale in the Nexa range and now the company is launching a new model in the Grand Vitara as well.

The new model will be introduced in Delta and Zeta variants, while the CNG model will cost Rs. 1 lakh additional price. The new version of the Grand Vitara will be powered by the regular 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a CNG kit. The same engine is already offered by Maruti Suzuki in Ertiga S-CNG and XL6 models.

It has excellent fuel efficiency and can deliver a maximum mileage of 28 km per kg of CNG. The new model will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and will produce 87 bhp and 121 Nm of torque. In the new car, the Maruti Suzuki Company will continue the features like the standard petrol model.

Additionally, the new car with the CNG badge will offer some new features and customers can choose different models according to their preference. The strong-hybrid version of the new car, which is already on sale, is also garnering huge demand.

It produces a combined power of 115 bhp through the ICE unit and gives a maximum mileage of 27.97 km per litre of petrol. But the new CNG model will be launched at a lower price than the hybrid model and is expected to compete well with the flagships.
