Love Triangle Ends in Murder: Actress Among Three Held in Bagalagunte Case
Bengaluru: The alleged murder of 45-year-old Mohan Krishna in Vijayalakshmi Layout has been cracked by Bagalagunte police, who arrested a small-screen actress and her two associates in connection with the crime.
Mohan Krishna, a financier, had been in a live-in relationship with Bindu, a supporting actress known for minor roles in Kannada films including Bhajarangi, Police Quarters and Kalabhairava. The couple had recently rented a house in the locality.
The case surfaced after residents complained of a foul smell from the locked house on March 1. Police discovered Mohan’s body in a decomposed state.
Probe findings indicate that Bindu had developed a relationship with Vinay and planned to marry him. Investigators believe the duo saw Mohan as an obstacle. On February 18, the four — Mohan, Bindu, Vinay and Dhanush — reportedly consumed alcohol together.
During the gathering, Mohan allegedly misbehaved with Bindu, triggering a violent altercation. Police said Vinay stabbed Mohan multiple times, and when he raised an alarm, the trio allegedly used cello tape to gag and suffocate him.
They then locked the house and fled. All three accused are in police custody, and further legal proceedings are under way.
