Gadag : In a shocking turn of events, a 38-year-old man who was believed to be dead started breathing again on the way to his funeral in Gadag-Betageri, leaving his family and locals astonished. The man, identified as Narayan Vannal, had been suffering from a brain hemorrhage and gallbladder-related complications.
Narayan had been admitted to a private hospital in Dharwad, where doctors reportedly performed a six-hour-long surgery. His condition was said to be critical, and he slipped into a coma after the operation. According to relatives, doctors had allegedly informed the family that Narayan’s chances of survival were minimal once the ventilator was removed.
Believing that he had passed away during transit, family members decided to take his body to Gadag for final rites. Preparations for his funeral were already underway when, to everyone’s shock, Narayan suddenly began breathing again inside the ambulance.
The stunned family immediately rushed him to a private hospital in Betageri, where he is currently receiving treatment. His sudden revival has caused a sensation across the Gadag-Betageri region, with many locals calling it a “miracle.”
Family members and neighbors have described the incident as a divine blessing, saying it was nothing short of a god’s miracle that brought Narayan back to life. They have been praying for his speedy recovery.
Meanwhile, locals have questioned the hospital’s handling of the case, alleging negligence on the part of the doctors who had prematurely declared him dead.
