SIT Issues Notices in Dharmasthala Burude Case, Four Key Individuals Summoned
Dharmasthala Burude Case: The Dharmasthala Burude conspiracy case is witnessing new developments as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has taken another significant step. Four key individuals, including Mahesh Shetty Timarodi and Girish Mattannavar, have been issued notices to appear for questioning in connection with the case.
The SIT notice, served under Section 35(3) of the Bharatiya Civil Security Code, directs the four – Mahesh Shetty Timarodi, Girish Mattannavar, Jayanth T. and Vitthal Gowda – to report to the Beltangadi SIT office on Monday at 10:30 AM.
The investigation officer, Jitendra Dayama, has warned that failure to comply could result in arrest. The notice emphasizes the necessity of their presence to verify facts and clarify circumstances related to the Dharmasthala Burude case.
The SIT notice explicitly instructs the accused to adhere to several mandatory conditions: refrain from committing any offense, avoid tampering with evidence, provide truthful statements before the court and investigating officers, cooperate with investigations, submit all relevant documents and evidence, assist in identification and arrest procedures, and ensure no destruction of evidence. Non-compliance may lead to action under Section 35(6) of the Civil Security Code.
Earlier in the investigation, an individual named Chinnayya claimed involvement in the disposal of over 100 bodies, prompting multiple operations by the authorities. Allegations have emerged suggesting a conspiracy against Dharmasthala, making the current SIT proceedings crucial in uncovering the truth.
As the investigation intensifies, public attention is now focused on what revelations these summonses may bring, with the SIT determined to unravel the facts behind the high-profile case.
