Dakshina Kannada toddler enters India Book of Records for exceptional memory power
Dakshina Kannada toddler: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy from Dakshina Kannada district has achieved an extraordinary feat that has astonished everyone. Aditya Ram R., a child prodigy from Vittla in Bantwal taluk, has entered the India Book of Records for his phenomenal memory and quick responses far beyond his age.
Son of Ramakrishna and Deepika, originally from Ramanagara, little Aditya stunned everyone with his ability to recall the capitals of all 28 Indian states, the names of 31 districts of Karnataka, and 12 national symbols of different countries.
Not stopping there, Aditya can fluently name 23 national leaders, eight Kannada Jnanpith awardees, 16 fruits, 32 animals, 12 shapes, and eight planets. He also recognizes the Hindi alphabet and can identify the national flags of 24 countries — all delivered effortlessly in his toddler’s speech, leaving adults speechless with amazement.
His parents say that Aditya’s curiosity and memory power began showing at a very early age, as he started recognizing symbols and flags even before turning two. His quick recall and clarity have now earned him a coveted place in the India Book of Records.
Several Karnataka kids in record books
Aditya joins the list of young achievers from Karnataka who have made it to the record books for their extraordinary intelligence. In 2022, Yathvik D. Gowda from Hassan entered the India Book of Records by naming all Indian states and their capitals in just 34 seconds at the age of two and a half.
In 2020, Tumakuru’s two-year-old Janvi Jagadev identified 21 colors to set a national record. The same year, Bengaluru witnessed three toddlers achieving similar recognition — Kiran for speaking four Indian languages fluently, Naksh for singing poems in five languages, and Ahaan for placing 32 chess pieces on a board in just 56 seconds.
With his record-breaking performance, Aditya has now joined this exceptional league of Karnataka’s youngest geniuses, proving that brilliance truly knows no age.
