CBSE Class 10 Result 2025: The wait for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 students is almost over. Results of class 10 to be out soon. Based on the previous release patterns of the CBSE, the results of the 2025 board exams are expected to be declared on or after May 20.
In 2024, the results were declared on May 13 and in 2023 on May 12. Although there is no official confirmation yet, the end of May is most likely to take place. It is advised that students should check the official websites regularly during the last week of May.
CBSE is expected to release the Class 10 results soon, though the board is yet to confirm the official date. Based on past trends, the results are likely to be announced within a month. Once declared, students can get their marks on the board’s official websites – cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
To pass the exam, students must score at least 33% marks in each subject. If a student misses the cutoff by a few points, the board may choose to award grace marks at its discretion. Looking at the pass percentage trends over the last five years gives a glimpse into expectations.
In 2024, the pass percentage for class 10 was 93.60%, while the pass percentage for class 12 was 87.98%. The highest results were recorded in 2021, when the pass rates for class 10 and 12 rose to 99.04% and 99.37% respectively – the year the exams were most affected by the pandemic.
