Karnataka school summer holiday: The Karnataka School Education and Literacy Department has released the dates for this year’s summer vacation. According to the announcement, the summer holidays will begin in April and continue until the end of May. The dates are likely to be from April 10 to May 28.

The move to announce the summer vacation dates in advance is a welcome relief for students and parents who were concerned about the increasing heat in the state. With temperatures already rising in most parts of Karnataka, the summer vacations will provide a welcome respite for students.

The notification has been issued at a time when various examinations are being conducted in the state. PUC exams are in their final stages and Class 10 exams will begin soon. Other exams are also in progress for students of primary and high schools.

However, according to an announcement made by the department, the vacation will begin from April 11 and will last until the end of May. This ensures that students take a break of about two months and can then rest and recharge before the start of the new academic term.

Summer vacation periods provide parents with time to schedule vacations and other activities with their children. In Karnataka, numerous exams have already commenced at different levels. The PU exams are almost at an end, while the 10th standard exams will start shortly.

Other school-level exams for primary and secondary students have also commenced. The majority of these exams will conclude by the end of March. The state government of Karnataka has considered the heatwave situation in the state while declaring the summer holiday schedule.
