Oppo Raises Prices of Reno 16c and A6 Series in India

Oppo has reportedly revised the prices of four smartphones in India, making several configurations of the Reno 16c, A6 5G, A6x 5G and A6c more expensive. The updated prices have appeared on the company website, with some models seeing substantial increases compared with their original launch prices.

The biggest changes can be seen across multiple configurations rather than being limited to a single storage option. This means buyers looking for these phones may now have to spend considerably more than the amount originally announced when the devices entered the Indian market.

The Oppo Reno 16c has received a notable price revision. Its 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version now costs Rs 52,999, compared with its earlier launch price of Rs 46,999.

The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant has also become more expensive. It is now listed at Rs 57,999, up from Rs 49,999. The 12GB RAM and 256GB version has increased from Rs 55,999 to Rs 62,999.

The changes to the Oppo A6 5G are even more noticeable when the current listings are compared with their launch prices. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is now priced at Rs 29,999, while it was introduced at Rs 17,999.

The 6GB RAM and 128GB version now carries a price of Rs 31,999. Its earlier launch price was Rs 19,999. Meanwhile, the 6GB RAM and 256GB configuration has moved to Rs 35,999 from its original price of Rs 21,999.

The Oppo A6x 5G has also seen sizeable changes. The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage version was launched at Rs 12,499 but is now listed at Rs 19,999.

For buyers looking for more storage, the 4GB RAM and 128GB variant has increased from Rs 13,499 to Rs 23,999. The 6GB RAM and 128GB model has moved from Rs 14,999 to Rs 26,999.

The Oppo A6c has received a comparatively smaller increase, although both of its listed configurations are now more expensive than their launch prices. The 4GB RAM and 64GB version has gone from Rs 13,999 to Rs 17,999.

The 4GB RAM and 128GB configuration is now priced at Rs 19,999, compared with its earlier launch price of Rs 16,999. This puts the latest price of both A6c variants above their original launch levels.

The revised pricing means consumers who were considering these smartphones based on their launch prices will now need to reassess their budgets. The difference is particularly noticeable on some of the A6 series configurations, where the gap between the launch price and current listing is substantial.

Oppo is not the only smartphone brand to have revised prices in the Indian market. Several manufacturers have adjusted prices for selected models in recent months.
