Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G India Launch Confirmed With Color Changing Design And 144Hz Display

Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G will launch in India on September 4 with a color changing finish, interactive rear display, 144Hz screen, 50MP Sony camera and large battery.

The wait for the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is almost over. Infinix has officially confirmed that its new smartphone will arrive in India on September 4 at 12 noon. The company has also started teasing the device through its Flipkart microsite, giving buyers a closer look at its design and key specifications before the launch.

One of the most interesting parts of the phone is its changing color design. The Hot 70 Pro 5G will be offered in Thermo Orange, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple and Dive Blue finishes. The Thermo Orange version can change its appearance when the temperature changes, giving the back panel a distinctive look. The Mirage Green finish is designed to react to ultraviolet light and can produce a glowing effect under suitable lighting.

The phone also brings something unusual to its rear panel in the form of the Active Matrix Cube. Rather than being a conventional decorative element, this interactive rear display can show information such as incoming calls, messages, charging details, weather updates, camera alerts and countdowns.

Infinix has added several personalization options to the rear display as well. Users can display selected patterns and emojis, while lighting effects can respond to music and supported gaming activity. This gives the rear panel a more interactive role instead of simply being part of the phone’s design.

Despite these additional features, the handset is relatively slim, measuring about 7.85mm in thickness. The design appears to be one of the major areas where Infinix is trying to make the new model stand apart from other smartphones in its segment.

Up front, the Hot 70 Pro 5G gets a 6.76 inch FHD Plus punch hole display. The screen supports a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and supported animations look smoother. It also offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate and peak brightness of up to 950 nits.

Photography is another important part of the phone. Infinix has equipped the device with a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera. The camera system includes a Live Photo mode and an AI Eraser feature that can remove unwanted elements from images. For selfies and video calls, the phone is expected to use an 8MP front camera.

Performance will come from the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, paired with UFS 2.2 storage. Infinix says supported games can run at frame rates of up to 90fps, although actual performance will depend on the individual game and its optimization.

Powering the phone is a 6000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. According to Infinix, the battery can reach around 50 percent charge in about 25 minutes and can be fully charged in approximately 63 minutes under the company’s stated conditions.

The Hot 70 Pro 5G is also being positioned as a durable everyday smartphone. It comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, while the speakers include a self cleaning technology intended to help maintain performance. Software support is another highlight, with Android 16, three major operating system updates and five years of security patches promised by the company.

With its unusual rear display, temperature responsive finish, high refresh rate screen, Sony camera and large battery, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G is shaping up to be an interesting addition to the Indian smartphone market. More details, including its official price and complete availability information, are expected to be revealed when the phone launches on September 4.
