31 Bangladeshi Nationals Deported From Bengaluru After Police Action

Bengaluru Police have deported 31 Bangladeshi nationals following an operation carried out across different parts of the city. The individuals had been detained on allegations of staying in India illegally, according to police sources.

The deportation was carried out after the required legal procedures were completed. Police teams handled the process and escorted the individuals from Bengaluru under security arrangements before taking them towards the West Bengal border.

The 31 people had been detained in operations conducted under the jurisdiction of 10 different police stations in Bengaluru. Authorities subsequently examined their documents and checked details related to their stay in the country before proceeding with the deportation process.

Around 20 police personnel were reportedly deployed for the security arrangements during the transfer. The detained individuals were taken to a railway terminal in Bengaluru and then transported by train towards the West Bengal border.

From the border region, the individuals were subsequently sent back to Bangladesh, according to police sources. The process was carried out after authorities completed the necessary verification and legal formalities.

The police action highlights the scrutiny being placed on the documentation of foreign nationals staying in the city. Officials examined available records as part of the process to establish whether the individuals had the required documents to remain in India.

The operation involved multiple police station jurisdictions rather than being limited to a single locality. This resulted in 31 people being brought together for further verification before arrangements were made for their deportation.

Police maintained security throughout the journey from Bengaluru to the border area. The individuals were transported by rail, with personnel accompanying them during the movement.

Officials have not indicated further details about the identities of those deported. Police sources said the 31 Bangladeshi nationals were ultimately sent back to Bangladesh through the West Bengal border after completion of the required procedure.
