The commission has prescribed different application fees based on the candidate’s category. General category applicants have to pay Rs 600.
Candidates belonging to categories 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B have to pay Rs 300. Former servicemen and persons with disabilities are required to pay Rs 50. SC and ST candidates are exempted from the application fee.
The fee has to be paid online during the application process.
How will candidates be selected
The selection process will be conducted according to KPSC recruitment rules. After applications are received and examined, eligible candidates will be required to appear for a preliminary examination.
Performance in the competitive examination will play an important role in determining the candidates who move forward in the recruitment process. Applicants should therefore keep checking the official KPSC updates for examination related information, including the schedule and further selection details.
Steps to apply online
Candidates should first read the complete recruitment notification carefully before beginning the application. After confirming their eligibility, they can visit the official KPSC website and access the online application section.
Applicants will have to enter their personal, educational and other required details correctly. Relevant documents should then be uploaded in the prescribed format before paying the applicable fee.
Once the application has been submitted successfully, candidates should save the application number and keep a copy of the submitted form for future reference. Checking every detail before final submission is advisable, as mistakes in an application can create problems later in the recruitment process.
