The Department of School Education is conducting this large-scale recruitment drive to fill vacancies across various categories, including Computer Teachers,, Graduate Primary Teachers, High School Teachers (Assistant Masters), and Physical Education Teachers.

Application Process and Key Guidelines:

Candidates can apply for all categories of posts through a single online application. However, applicants opting for more than one category must indicate their order of preference for the posts and select their preferred examination district while filling out the application form.

The department has warned that applications containing incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information are liable to be rejected. Candidates will be solely responsible for any errors made during the application process.

Once an online application is submitted, no corrections or modifications will be permitted. Candidates who wish to make changes after submission must submit a fresh application and pay the applicable fee again.

Applicants are therefore advised to carefully review all details and take a printout of the completed application before final submission. Providing a valid mobile number and email address is mandatory, as all future communication will be sent through these contact details.

Confusion Over Income Certificate Requirement:

The School Education Department’s guidelines regarding income certificates for married women candidates have sparked confusion. According to the department, applicants may submit either their father’s or husband’s income certificate.

However, recruitment agencies such as the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) require only the husband’s income certificate for married women applicants. The differing guidelines have led to uncertainty among candidates.
