Poco M8x 5G Design Teased Ahead of India Launch

Poco has started building anticipation around its next M Series smartphone in India. The company has officially teased the Poco M8x 5G, giving buyers their first clear look at the phone while confirming that it will be sold through Flipkart.

The teaser focuses mainly on the rear design. The handset appears in a green finish with a textured back panel, while the frame and camera housing feature contrasting gold accents. This combination gives the upcoming smartphone a noticeably different appearance compared with some of Poco’s recent M Series models.

A square camera module sits toward the upper left corner of the rear panel. The teaser suggests a dual camera arrangement accompanied by an LED flash, although Poco has not yet provided complete details about the cameras. The power button and volume controls can also be seen along the right side of the device, while Poco branding sits toward the lower portion of the back.

The company has not revealed the exact launch date yet. It has also kept the price and most of the specifications under wraps. Details such as the display size, refresh rate, processor, RAM, storage, battery capacity and charging technology are still expected to be announced through future teasers.

For buyers waiting for the phone, one detail is already clear. The Poco M8x 5G will be available through Flipkart in India. The company has not confirmed whether the handset will be sold exclusively online, but the dedicated Flipkart presence points in that direction.

The upcoming phone follows the recent arrival of the Poco M8 Power, another member of the company’s M Series. The M8 Power starts at ₹24,999 for its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and comes with a 6.83 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The Poco M8 Power also packs an 8000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging. It features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, making battery life one of its main selling points.

Poco has not indicated whether the M8x 5G will sit above or below the M8 Power in terms of pricing. For now, the design teaser is the main information available, and the green and gold finish appears to be one of the phone’s key visual highlights.

More information should become available as Poco moves closer to the India launch. Until the company confirms the remaining specifications and pricing, buyers will have to wait before getting a complete picture of what the Poco M8x 5G will offer.
