Heavy Rain Alert: IMD Watches Active Monsoon Conditions Across India

Eastern states may see more rain
Odisha, West Bengal and Jharkhand are among the areas expected to experience increased rainfall activity as the weather system moves inland. Parts of Chhattisgarh and neighbouring central regions may also receive significant rain during the next few days.
The latest IMD outlook issued on August 13 also indicates continued rainfall activity over several parts of eastern and central India. Odisha and Chhattisgarh are among the regions where heavy rainfall has been forecast during the coming days.
