Redmi K100 Pro Max Debuts With 185Hz AMOLED Display and 9070mAh Battery
Redmi has launched the K100 Pro Max in China with a high refresh rate AMOLED display, powerful Snapdragon chipset, 200MP camera and a massive battery built for heavy users.

Redmi has expanded its flagship lineup in China with the K100 Pro Max, a smartphone that puts a strong focus on display quality, performance and battery life. The device has been launched alongside the Redmi K100 Pro and is already available through Xiaomi’s online store in China.
The massive 9070mAh battery is arguably the phone’s biggest talking point. Redmi has paired it with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, making the device an interesting option for people who regularly spend long hours gaming, streaming or working on their phone.

Display designed for smooth performance
The handset comes with a large 6.9 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED panel offering a 1200 by 2608 pixel resolution. Its 185Hz refresh rate is aimed at delivering smoother movement during gaming and fast scrolling.
The screen also supports an instant touch sampling rate of up to 4800Hz, along with DC dimming and full DCI P3 colour coverage. Redmi claims peak brightness of up to 4500 nits, while the panel can display 68.7 billion colours.
HDR10 Plus, HDR Vivid and Dolby Vision support are also part of the display package. These additions should make the screen more versatile for both gaming and video consumption.
Powerful hardware under the hood
Performance comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built using a 3nm manufacturing process. The octa core processor can reach speeds of up to 4.6GHz.
The phone can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Redmi has also included a Qualcomm AI Engine, an Adreno GPU and a separate D2 graphics chip.
The software experience is based on Android 16 with HyperOS 3. This combination gives the phone a current software platform to match its high end hardware.
200MP camera leads the photography setup
On the back, the Redmi K100 Pro Max carries a triple camera system. The main camera uses a 200MP sensor with an f1.68 aperture and optical image stabilisation.
A 50MP telephoto camera sits alongside it and offers up to 100x digital zoom. The third camera is a 50MP ultrawide sensor with a 102 degree field of view.
Video recording goes up to 8K at 30 frames per second, while a 32MP camera on the front is available for selfies and video calls.
Battery capacity sets it apart
The 9070mAh battery gives the K100 Pro Max a major advantage on paper. The high capacity is particularly notable in a flagship phone and is aimed at users who want longer usage without frequently reaching for a charger.
Charging support includes 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone can also share power through 27W wired reverse charging and 22.5W wireless reverse charging.
An in display fingerprint sensor and face unlock are included for everyday security.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max starts at CNY 4499 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The 16GB RAM and 256GB model is priced at CNY 4899.

Design and availability
The phone measures 163.49 by 77.94 by 8.45mm and weighs about 238 grams. Redmi is offering the handset in Black, Cabernet Sauvignon Red, Chasing the Wind Blue and Flowing Gold and White finishes.
For now, the Redmi K100 Pro Max is limited to the Chinese market. Redmi has not announced an India launch date or confirmed Indian pricing, so buyers in the country will have to wait for an official update.
