Honor X7e Plus 5G Debuts With Massive 8100mAh Battery and Advanced AI Features
Honor expands its smartphone lineup with the Honor X7e Plus 5G featuring a large battery, Snapdragon processor, AI powered tools, durable design, high refresh rate display, and enhanced camera capabilities for everyday users

Honor has introduced the Honor X7e Plus 5G, adding another device to its growing smartphone portfolio. After unveiling the Honor X7e with a large battery and smooth display earlier this year, the company has now launched an upgraded 5G version. The new smartphone combines a powerful battery, AI driven features, a Snapdragon chipset, and a durable build, making it an attractive option in the affordable 5G segment. The device has been launched in Qatar and is also available in Oman, while details about its release in other markets are yet to be announced.
One of the biggest highlights of the Honor X7e Plus 5G is its massive 8100mAh battery, with a rated capacity of 7900mAh. The smartphone supports 45W SuperCharge technology for faster charging. Honor claims the battery is designed to retain more than 80 percent of its original capacity even after years of regular use. The phone is also built to perform in extreme weather conditions, operating in temperatures ranging from minus 30 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.
The smartphone features a 6.87 inch TFT LCD display with HD Plus resolution of 1592 x 720 pixels. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming, while peak brightness reaches up to 1020 nits for improved outdoor visibility. Dynamic dimming and Eye Comfort mode have also been included to provide a more comfortable viewing experience during extended usage.
Honor has added a dedicated AI button that gives users quick access to several smart features. A long press activates functions such as AI Memory, Circle to Search, AI Eraser, AI Summary, and Smart Recommendations. These tools are designed to improve productivity and simplify everyday smartphone tasks.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 16 with MagicOS 10. It also supports RAM Turbo technology, allowing part of the storage to be used as virtual memory for smoother multitasking and better app performance.
For photography, the Honor X7e Plus 5G comes with a 50 megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by an additional sensor. On the front, users get a 5 megapixel selfie camera for video calls and everyday photography. The camera setup is aimed at delivering reliable image quality for daily use.
The smartphone includes several practical features such as stereo speakers with a 400 percent volume mode, NFC support, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.1 with LDAC and aptX HD audio support, USB Type C connectivity, and dual SIM functionality. These additions make the device suitable for entertainment as well as regular communication needs.
Durability is another strong point of the new Honor phone. It comes with IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for resistance against water and dust. The device has also received SGS Premium Drop and Crush Resistance certification, providing added protection against accidental damage. It weighs 216 grams and measures 168.3 x 78.54 x 8.3mm.
Honor has launched the X7e Plus 5G in two storage variants. The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at QAR 999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs QAR 1099, which is approximately Rs 29000. Buyers can choose from Desert Gold, Velvet Black, and Meteor Silver color options. The company has not yet confirmed when the smartphone will be introduced in additional global markets.
