Redmi Note 17 Pro Debuts With Massive 9000mAh Battery and Snapdragon Chipset

Redmi has introduced the Note 17 Pro with a large battery fast charging AMOLED display Snapdragon processor and multiple storage options aiming to deliver long lasting performance at a competitive price.

Redmi has officially launched the Redmi Note 17 Pro, introducing a smartphone that focuses on extended battery life, modern hardware and an attractive price point. The new device arrives with a 9000mAh battery, a high refresh rate AMOLED display and the latest HyperOS software, making it one of the standout launches in its segment.

One of the biggest highlights of the Redmi Note 17 Pro is its enormous 9000mAh battery, designed for users who want their phone to last through heavy daily usage. The device supports 67W wired fast charging, allowing the battery to recharge quickly, while 22.5W wired reverse charging enables users to power compatible accessories or other smartphones when needed.

The smartphone features a 6.83 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1280 pixels. It offers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and gaming, a 240Hz touch sampling rate for faster response and peak brightness of up to 3200 nits to improve outdoor visibility in bright sunlight.

Powering the Redmi Note 17 Pro is Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor. The handset runs Android 16 based HyperOS 3, bringing the latest software features and system optimizations. The combination is expected to provide reliable performance for multitasking, entertainment and everyday applications.

For photography, the smartphone includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 megapixel primary sensor with an f 1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2 megapixel depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, Redmi has equipped the device with an 8 megapixel selfie camera for video calls and self portraits. Both the front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 1080p resolution.

Connectivity options include support for 5G and 4G networks along with Wi Fi Bluetooth GPS NFC and a USB Type C port. The phone also features an in display fingerprint scanner for biometric security. It measures 163.45 x 78.27 x 8.46 mm and weighs approximately 226 grams.

Redmi has launched the Note 17 Pro in multiple memory and storage variants to cater to different users. The base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at CNY 1599, roughly equivalent to Rs 22700. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs CNY 1899, while the 12GB RAM and 256GB model is priced at CNY 2199. Buyers looking for additional storage can opt for the 8GB RAM and 512GB variant, which is available for CNY 2299.

The smartphone is offered in White Purple Blue and Black colour options. Sales have started in China through Redmi official channels, while the company is yet to announce availability in other international markets.
