Motorola is preparing to launch the Edge 70 Max in India, and ahead of its official debut, the company has revealed several key specifications. The upcoming smartphone is expected to attract attention with its large battery, flagship hardware, and premium display technology.

The Motorola Edge 70 Max is scheduled to launch in India on July 15 at 12 noon. A dedicated product page has already gone live on Flipkart, confirming the launch timeline. The smartphone is expected to arrive in Green, Light Blue, and Black colour options, while the official pricing is yet to be announced.

The biggest highlight of the new smartphone is its battery. Motorola has confirmed that the Edge 70 Max will feature a 7100mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever offered in one of the brand’s smartphones. According to the company, the device is capable of delivering up to 58 hours of usage on a single charge under supported usage conditions.

To complement the large battery, Motorola has included 90W TurboPower fast charging support, allowing users to recharge the phone quickly. The smartphone also supports 25W magnetic wireless charging, which the company says is among the fastest magnetic wireless charging solutions available in its category. In addition, the device comes with a built in magnetic system that supports compatible magnetic accessories.

The Motorola Edge 70 Max is also expected to deliver a premium visual experience. It features a QHD Plus LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling, gaming, and animations. The display is claimed to reach up to 7000 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for improved durability.

Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, positioning the device in the flagship segment. The phone is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which is designed to deliver faster multitasking, gaming performance, and efficient handling of demanding applications.

For photography, the Edge 70 Max includes a 50 megapixel Sony LYT 710 primary camera. While Motorola has not yet revealed the complete camera configuration, the company has highlighted the main sensor as one of the device’s key imaging features.
