Motorola is all set to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G77 Power on July 8. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has revealed most of the phone’s key specifications through its product page, highlighting a combination of long battery life, reliable performance, and premium features aimed at the midrange segment.
One of the biggest highlights of the upcoming smartphone is its enormous 7000mAh battery. Motorola says the device is designed to deliver up to 59 hours of usage on a single charge, making it an attractive option for users who prioritize battery life. The phone also supports 30W TurboPower fast charging and 6W wired reverse charging, allowing it to power compatible accessories when needed.
The Moto G77 Power features a 6.72 inch Full HD Plus LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gaming. The screen offers up to 1050 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode, making outdoor visibility easier. For added durability, Motorola has equipped the display with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The handset also carries an IP64 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes and meets MIL STD 810H military grade durability standards.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. It comes paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Users who need additional memory can expand the storage up to 1TB using a microSD card. The device also supports virtual RAM expansion through Motorola’s RAM Boost feature for smoother multitasking.
Photography is another area where Motorola is placing strong emphasis. The rear camera setup includes a 50 megapixel Sony LYTIA 600 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization for sharper photos and steadier videos. It is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra wide camera for capturing wider scenes. On the front, the phone features a 32 megapixel selfie camera. Both the front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 2K resolution.
The Moto G77 Power will run Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has confirmed that the smartphone will receive one major Android operating system upgrade along with three years of security updates. For multimedia, the handset comes with stereo speakers enhanced by Dolby Atmos technology, promising an immersive audio experience.
Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking. Motorola has also confirmed that the phone will be available in Pantone Impenetrable, Pantone Nautical Blue, Pantone Fuchsia Red, and Pantone Laurel Green color options.
While the company has not yet revealed the official pricing, the Moto G77 Power appears to focus on users looking for a dependable smartphone with exceptional battery life, a smooth display, capable cameras, and modern software. More details, including pricing and availability, will be announced during the official launch event on July 8.
