The visual closely resembled biblical depictions of Jesus Christ, particularly scenes associated with divine healing. The background also featured elements such as the American flag, fighter jets, and angelic figures, further amplifying the symbolic imagery.
The post quickly drew sharp reactions from religious groups, political commentators, and the public. Critics accused Trump of hurting religious sentiments and attempting to portray himself in a divine light.
