Xiaomi launches triple drum washing machine with smart features and 10kg front load capacity

Xiaomi has once again expanded its smart home lineup with the launch of a unique washing machine that brings an unusual triple drum design. The new model, called the Mijia Washing Machine Three Zone Wash Pro, is designed to offer more flexibility in laundry care by separating different types of clothes into different washing zones. With a 10kg front load main drum, the machine aims to balance capacity with smart functionality for modern households.

The most striking feature of this washing machine is its three drum system. It includes one large central drum along with two smaller upper drums. The idea behind this design is to allow users to wash different categories of clothing separately in a single machine. For example, heavy clothes can go into the main drum, while smaller items like socks, towels and handkerchiefs can be cleaned in the upper compartments. Each drum has its own water supply system, which helps maintain hygiene and reduces mixing of detergents between loads.

In terms of smart functionality, Xiaomi has integrated HyperOS Connect into the device. This allows users to control and monitor the washing machine through the Xiaomi mobile app even when they are not at home. The machine also supports voice control, making it easier to operate without manual interaction. A touch panel is provided on the front, giving users direct access to different wash cycles depending on fabric type and cleaning needs.

Another important upgrade is the automatic detergent dispensing system. The machine can adjust detergent usage based on load size, which helps avoid waste and improves washing efficiency. It also intelligently manages water levels according to the amount of laundry inside, making the entire process more optimized and user friendly.

The Mijia Three Zone Wash Pro has been launched in China at a price of 4699 yuan, which is approximately 64,300 rupees. At the moment, Xiaomi has not confirmed availability in other global markets. The product can currently be purchased through the Xiaomi Youpin platform, which hosts several of the company’s early or region specific smart home products.

With its triple drum design and AI powered smart features, Xiaomi is clearly trying to change how traditional laundry systems work. The combination of separate washing zones, app based control and automated resource management makes this washing machine stand out as a futuristic addition to the smart appliance segment.
