Xiaomi Introduces New 7L Smart Steam Air Fryer with Hybrid Cooking Technology
Latest Mijia air fryer combines steam and hot air cooking with smart app control and multiple cooking modes offering users a larger capacity appliance designed for modern home kitchens

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home lineup with the launch of the Mijia Smart Steam Air Fryer 7L in global markets. The new device brings together air frying, steaming, and sous vide style cooking in a single appliance, aiming to simplify everyday cooking for households looking for convenience and versatility.
The product is positioned as an upgraded version of the earlier model, now featuring a larger 7 liter capacity. This allows users to prepare bigger portions of food in one go, making it suitable for families or batch cooking. Xiaomi has not yet announced global pricing or availability, but early indications suggest a rollout in select international markets soon.
One of the key highlights of the air fryer is its wide range of cooking capabilities. It offers 10 preset cooking modes that include steaming, fermentation, dehydration, defrosting, and reheating. In addition, it supports sous vide style cooking with the help of a built in 1.5 liter water tank, expanding its functionality beyond traditional air frying.
Temperature control is another strong feature of the device. It supports a range from 40 degrees Celsius to 230 degrees Celsius, allowing users to switch between slow cooking techniques and high heat roasting. In steam mode, the appliance can reach around 130 degrees Celsius, helping reduce cooking time while retaining moisture in food.
Xiaomi has also introduced a hybrid cooking system that combines hot air circulation with steam technology. This dual approach is designed to improve texture, making food crisp on the outside while keeping it soft and juicy inside, according to the company.
Smart connectivity plays an important role in the new device. The air fryer supports HyperOS Connect, enabling users to control it through the Xiaomi Home app. Features such as remote operation, recipe browsing, and voice control via Google Home are also included, making it more interactive and user friendly.
With growing interest in smart kitchen appliances, Xiaomi’s latest offering reflects a shift toward connected cooking solutions that blend automation with everyday practicality.
