Xiaomi 18 Series Leak Suggests Bigger Battery 7200mAh Power and Compact 6.4 Inch Display

Xiaomi is reportedly preparing its next generation flagship smartphone series, and early leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 18 lineup could bring significant improvements in both performance and design. The series is expected to build on the foundation of the Xiaomi 17 series while introducing new hardware upgrades aimed at power users.

One of the most talked about details comes from a recent leak shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the information, the base model engineering prototype of the Xiaomi 18 may feature a massive 7200mAh battery. This would be a notable jump compared to the Xiaomi 17, which already carries a 7000mAh battery, suggesting Xiaomi is still prioritizing long lasting battery performance.

The base model is also expected to adopt a compact form factor with a 6.4 inch 2K resolution display. The screen could feature slim bezels on all sides along with rounded corners and a 19.5 by 9 aspect ratio. This indicates that Xiaomi may continue its trend of offering flagship power in a more compact body for easier handling.

Camera upgrades appear to be another major highlight. The Xiaomi 18 is tipped to feature a 200MP primary rear camera, marking a significant jump in imaging capabilities. This could position the device strongly in the premium photography segment, especially for users who prioritize high resolution mobile photography.
