
Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo X Fold 6 in China, expanding its premium foldable smartphone lineup with a device packed with flagship specifications. The new book style foldable combines a powerful camera system, large battery, high performance chipset and premium displays, making it one of the company’s most feature rich smartphones to date. The handset is scheduled to go on sale in China from July 1 and is available in multiple storage and color options.
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo X Fold 6 is its advanced photography setup. The smartphone features a Zeiss tuned triple rear camera system led by a 200MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization. It is accompanied by a 50MP ultra wide camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens that supports up to 100x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, Vivo has included two 20MP front cameras, one on the cover display and another inside the foldable screen. The phone is also capable of recording videos in up to 8K resolution.
The foldable phone is powered by the latest 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, designed to deliver flagship level performance. The chipset includes a prime core clocked at up to 4.21GHz along with dedicated performance and efficiency cores for smooth multitasking and gaming. Buyers can choose configurations with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and as much as 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage, ensuring fast performance and ample space for apps, media and files.
Vivo has equipped the X Fold 6 with a large 7000mAh battery, one of the biggest capacities seen in a foldable smartphone. The device supports 80W wired fast charging and 40W wireless charging, allowing users to quickly recharge while benefiting from extended battery life throughout the day.
The smartphone offers an immersive viewing experience with an 8.02 inch foldable AMOLED inner display built using Samsung M14 luminous material. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR content, a wide DCI P3 color gamut and rich color reproduction. The external cover screen measures 6.51 inches and delivers similar display quality, allowing users to comfortably use the phone without unfolding it.
Running on Android 16 based OriginOS 6 Fold, the device includes several premium features and connectivity options. It supports 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type C, GPS and multiple global navigation systems. Additional hardware includes an IR blaster, side mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock support and a complete range of sensors for everyday use.
Durability has also been given special attention. Vivo claims the X Fold 6 comes with IP58 and IP59 ratings for protection against dust and water, adding extra confidence for users who want a premium foldable that is built to withstand daily use. Even with its large battery and premium hardware, the device weighs about 228 grams while maintaining a slim profile in both folded and unfolded modes.
The Vivo X Fold 6 is available in several variants. The base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage starts at 7999 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 1.11 lakh. The 12GB and 512GB version is priced at around Rs 1.25 lakh, while the 16GB and 512GB model costs roughly Rs 1.39 lakh. The top end 16GB and 1TB variant is priced at approximately Rs 1.53 lakh. Vivo has also introduced a premium Black Gold Edition, priced at about Rs 1.57 lakh. Buyers can choose from Blue Hole, Polar Night and Salt Lake color finishes.
