Samsung Wallet Introduces Trips Feature to Simplify Travel Management for Users

New update allows Galaxy users to organize flights hotels and travel documents in one secure place making trip planning more seamless and accessible across regions starting rollout in select countries

Travel planning is becoming more convenient for smartphone users as Samsung expands the capabilities of its digital ecosystem. The company has introduced a new feature called Trips inside Samsung Wallet, aimed at bringing all travel related information into a single organized space.

Instead of switching between multiple apps and booking platforms, users will now be able to view their entire travel itinerary in one timeline. The system automatically groups flight tickets, hotel reservations, and transport bookings based on time and location, making it easier to track every detail of a journey without confusion.

At its core, the Trips feature is designed to reduce the hassle of managing scattered travel confirmations. Whether a user books a flight through one service and a hotel through another, Samsung Wallet brings everything together in a structured format. This unified view helps travelers stay updated without manually searching through emails or apps.

The feature also allows users to add travel related items manually. Along with that, a dedicated memo section lets users save important notes such as packing lists, reminders, or travel plans. This makes the tool useful not just for tracking bookings but also for organizing the overall travel experience.

Security remains a key focus for Samsung Wallet. All stored data is protected by the company’s Knox security platform, which includes encryption and biometric authentication. This ensures that only the device owner can access sensitive travel information, adding an extra layer of privacy and safety.

Rollout of the Trips feature is expected to begin in April 2026 for Samsung Galaxy smartphone users. In the initial phase, it will be available in selected regions including the United States, United Kingdom, and South Korea. While there is no official confirmation about global expansion yet, there is growing expectation that the feature may eventually reach more markets, including India.

The introduction of Trips reflects Samsung’s broader effort to turn its wallet service into more than just a payment tool. By integrating travel management into the same platform, the company is aiming to simplify everyday planning for users who frequently travel for work or leisure.
