Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G India Launch Date Confirmed With 144Hz Display

Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G will launch in India on September 4 with a 144Hz display, Active Matrix Cube lighting, multiple finishes and several features aimed at younger buyers.

Infinix has confirmed that the Hot 70 Pro 5G will arrive in India on September 4, 2026. The smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled at 12 noon and will be sold through Flipkart, with availability on the company website also expected.

The company has been revealing selected details ahead of the launch, building interest around the phone’s design and display. Pricing and the final hardware configuration, however, are still under wraps.

One of the biggest talking points is the 144Hz display, which should make scrolling and supported gaming feel smoother. Infinix is also giving the phone a distinctive rear design with an Active Matrix Cube, or AMC.

The Active Matrix Cube is a compact customizable LED system placed on the back of the phone. It can display different lighting patterns for notifications, incoming calls, charging, music and gaming. The feature is clearly designed to give the phone a more distinctive look rather than keeping the rear panel conventional.

Four Different Colour Options

The Hot 70 Pro 5G will be available in Dive Blue, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple and Thermo Orange. Each version is expected to have its own finish or visual effect.

The Thermo Orange variant is designed to change colour depending on temperature. Mirage Green is expected to offer a different visual effect in low light, while Silk Glow Purple can show changing patterns when viewed from different angles. Dive Blue, meanwhile, is expected to feature a matte finish.

Expected Hardware

Based on the global model and earlier reports, the Indian version could feature a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. These specifications have not yet been fully confirmed for India, so the final configuration should be checked at launch.

The camera setup is also expected to include a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. An IP68 rating has been reported as another possible feature.

Battery and charging details remain another area of interest. Earlier reports have pointed to a 6000mAh battery with 45W fast charging for the Indian model. Infinix is yet to officially confirm these specifications.

Price Still Under Wraps

The company has not announced the Indian price of the Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G. The exact RAM and storage variants are also expected to be revealed around the launch.

With its high refresh rate display and unusual rear lighting system, the Hot 70 Pro 5G appears to be focusing as much on design and personality as on everyday smartphone performance. The final price could determine how strongly it competes in its segment.
