Samsung Galaxy S25 Gets Costlier by Rs 12,000 in India
Samsung has raised Galaxy S25 prices in India, with the 512GB variant crossing Rs 1 lakh while the flagship continues offering premium hardware and AI powered camera features.

Samsung Galaxy S25 prices have increased
The 512GB model now costs above Rs 1 lakh
Galaxy S25 still offers strong camera and AI features
Samsung has increased the price of its Galaxy S25 flagship smartphone in India, with the biggest hike affecting the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. The revised prices took effect from August 19, 2026.
The price change comes after the Galaxy S25 had received reductions over time following its launch. With the latest revision, buyers looking for Samsung’s compact flagship will now have to spend considerably more, particularly on the higher storage configuration.
The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version has moved from Rs 80,999 to Rs 84,999. This represents a Rs 4,000 increase for the entry level configuration.
The larger 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model has seen a much sharper increase. Its earlier price of Rs 92,999 has been revised to Rs 1,04,999, making it Rs 12,000 more expensive. The 512GB variant has therefore crossed the Rs 1 lakh mark.
Despite the higher price, the Galaxy S25 remains a premium compact smartphone with hardware aimed at users who want flagship performance without moving to a larger device.
The phone features a 6.2 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, which was customised for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 lineup. The phone also comes with 12GB RAM.
Photography remains one of the key features. The Galaxy S25 has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. A 12MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
Samsung has also included several AI based camera and editing tools. These features can help users with tasks such as removing unwanted objects and making smart adjustments to photographs.
The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery, which is relatively modest compared with some newer smartphones but is paired with Samsung’s compact flagship design.
The latest price increase does make the Galaxy S25 less attractive at its official price, especially for buyers considering the 512GB model. At Rs 1,04,999, shoppers have more reasons to compare it with newer flagship alternatives before making a decision.
However, the actual purchase price could be lower during online sales or through bank discounts, exchange benefits and Samsung promotional offers. Buyers interested in the Galaxy S25 may therefore want to check available deals rather than relying only on the revised listed price.
