Redmi K100 Pro Appears on Benchmark Platform With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Android 16

Redmi K100 Pro has surfaced on a benchmark platform with flagship hardware powerful processor Android 16 and high memory hinting at a premium smartphone launch expected soon globally.

Xiaomi appears to be preparing its next flagship Redmi smartphone, and fresh benchmark information has offered an early glimpse of what users can expect. While the company has not officially announced the Redmi K100 Pro, a new listing on a popular benchmarking platform strongly suggests that the premium handset is already being tested internally. The listing not only points to the device name but also reveals several important hardware details that could make it one of the most powerful Redmi smartphones to date.

The latest benchmark entry has attracted attention because it is linked to Xiaomi model number M511CD. Previous certification records had already associated this model number with the Chinese version of the Redmi K100 Pro. Although the benchmark database itself does not directly mention the commercial name, industry observers believe it matches the upcoming flagship device based on earlier regulatory information.

One of the biggest highlights is the processor powering the smartphone. According to the benchmark listing, the device is equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The processor reportedly carries the model number QTI SM8850 and features an advanced octa core architecture. Reports indicate that the chipset includes two high performance cores capable of reaching up to 4.61GHz, while the remaining six cores operate at around 3.63GHz. This combination is expected to deliver faster app performance, smoother gaming and improved power efficiency.

The benchmark also indicates that the smartphone is running Android 16 straight out of the box. Xiaomi is expected to pair the latest Android version with its upcoming HyperOS 3 interface, bringing new software features, improved animations and deeper artificial intelligence integration. Although Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the software version, the listing provides a strong indication of the company’s plans for its next generation flagship lineup.

Memory configuration is another area where the Redmi K100 Pro appears ready to compete with premium smartphones. The benchmark database shows approximately 14.73GB of RAM, suggesting that the tested model carries 16GB memory. At launch, Xiaomi may introduce multiple variants, including 12GB and 16GB RAM options, allowing customers to choose a configuration based on their needs and budget.

Performance scores recorded during the benchmark test further reinforce expectations of flagship level capabilities. In the Geekbench 6.7.1 benchmark for Android AArch64 devices, the smartphone reportedly achieved a single core score of 3429 points and a multi core score of 10671 points. Such numbers suggest significant improvements over previous Redmi flagship models and indicate that the device could comfortably handle demanding multitasking, advanced gaming and productivity workloads.

Although benchmark scores do not always reflect real world performance, they provide an early indication of the device’s processing capabilities. Combined with Qualcomm’s newest flagship chipset, the Redmi K100 Pro could become a strong competitor in the premium Android smartphone segment once it officially launches.

Reports also suggest that Xiaomi is planning a broader Redmi K100 family rather than introducing only one model. Industry sources expect the lineup to include three different smartphones aimed at various price segments. This strategy would allow the company to offer flagship features across multiple models while appealing to a wider customer base.

Speculation surrounding the launch has intensified after Xiaomi confirmed its participation in the ChinaJoy Digital Entertainment Expo scheduled between July 31 and August 3, 2026, in China. The company has announced that it will unveil a new product during the event and provide early access to visitors. While Xiaomi has not confirmed the product’s identity, many believe the Redmi K100 series could be among the announcements.

At this stage, Xiaomi has not revealed official information regarding the phone’s display, cameras, battery capacity or charging technology. However, considering Redmi’s recent flagship launches, expectations are high for an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, advanced camera hardware, large battery capacity and ultra fast charging support.

The Redmi K100 Pro is also expected to continue Xiaomi’s focus on delivering premium specifications at a competitive price. Redmi flagship devices have traditionally offered top tier processors and advanced features while remaining more affordable than many competing premium smartphones. If the company maintains that approach, the upcoming device could attract users looking for flagship performance without paying ultra premium prices.

Until Xiaomi makes an official announcement, all currently available information should be viewed as preliminary. Nevertheless, the benchmark appearance provides one of the strongest indications yet that the Redmi K100 Pro is nearing launch. More details about its complete specifications, pricing, availability and launch schedule are likely to emerge in the coming weeks as the company prepares for its next major smartphone release.
